I’ve started re-posting the older news posts on the site now that the formatting issues have been handled … but in my haste I accidentally deleted the comments!
Oops … my sincere apologies to everyone. I should really stop puttering around online past my bed time : /

Now that most of the Blog and Shop has been put back together during the last few weeks its time to tackle the News Posts. For the time being the posts will be down while I work at changing the stylesheet for this page. Please check back later next week when most of teh archive should be online along with new updates.
In the meantime – have you seen my new store?

Back in January I completed the Simply Ducky Winter 2010 catalog and started sending it out with all orders over twenty-five dollars. The first (albeit) small supply of the catalogs have now been exhausted!
The upcoming changes to the website should help with teh cataalog shortage as I move to a new format for the shop. Expect to shortly see a more formal look to the Simply Ducky website with the ’shop’ and the ‘blog’ parts being seperated. This new shop ( edit: new store ) will have a vastly improved shopping cart along with expanded product listings and the ability for me to run online specials on sale, clearance, or discontinued stock!

Quite a few updates have been made over the last week to both the website and the Simply Ducky in general. In no particular order they are:
The Simply Ducky Winter 2010 catalog has been completed and is now free with all orders over $25. At twenty-two pages, this color catalog lists all active Simply Ducky soap and candle products as of January 2010.
The Web Services & Design page has been updated to reflect new services I now provide as well as some of the recent work I have completed.
All votives are now $2.50 each (a drop down from three dollars each).
The Shipping & Payment page has been updated to refer to the use of Acadian Lines to ship products to the neighboring town of New Glasgow.
This is the quiet time of year for soap and candle sales while I wait for the Antigonish Farmer’s Market to start up again. As a result most of my attention is focused on Web Design & Maintenance. On a related note, the Antigonish Farmer’s Market will be opening a week earlier this year on May 8th 2010 – the day before Mother’s Day.

A few customers were unable to order Fishy Soaps for Christmas due to the huge demand – and as it turns out, one customer ordered more then they could handle. A few more Fishy Soaps have made their way back to my store room for anyone who was looking for them and are now available online.
